4 | Tomatoes - peeled, sliced (large) | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dried basil |
Salt & pepper to taste | ||
1/2 cup | 118ml | Mayonnaise |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Shredded cheddar cheese |
Partly bake pie shell at 350f. Into partly baked shell, add tomatoes, salt, pepper and basil. In a small bowl combine mayo and cheese. Spread this mixture over tomato. Bake pie at 350f for 30 minutes. Good when served as a side dish or as a light main course with a garden salad.
