Tofu With Broccoli Recipe - Cooking Index
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Brown sugar |
4 teaspoons | 20ml | Tamari |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Vegetable oil |
2 | Garlic cloves | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Minced ginger |
1 cup | 237ml | Firm tofu - cubed |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Water |
2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Broccoli - chopped |
2 | Scallions - chopped | |

Dissolve sugar in tamari & set aside. In a wok, heat oil over medium high heat. Stir fry ginger & garlic for 1 minute. Add tofu & water & cook for 2 minutes. Add tamari mixture to the wok & cook for 1 minute. Add broccoli & cook until tender-crisp. Mix in scallions & serve hot over rice.
