Sweet And Sour Purple Cabbage Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Margarine |
| 1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Chopped onion |
| 3 cups | 438g / 15oz | Chopped purple cabbage |
| 2 cups | 474ml | Apples - sliced and halved |
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Water |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Brown sugar |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Vinegar |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dijon mustard |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
| 1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Pepper |
Saute onion in cooking spray and margarine for 1 minute. Add cabbage and apples and saute for 3 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well. Cover. Cook over low heat 20-25 minutes. Sprinkle with caraway seed if desired.
