Southern Peach Yam Bake Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Packed brown sugar |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Flour |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Nutmeg |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Margarine |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Chopped pecans |
2 | Yam - drained (17 oz) | |
1 | Peach slices - drain | |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Miniature marshmallows |
Combine sugar, flour and nutmeg; cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add nuts. Arrange yams and peaches in 1 1/2 quart casserole; sprinkle with sugar mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees, 35 minutes. Sprinkle with marshmallows. Broil until lightly browned.
