Skillet Cabbage Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Vegetable oil |
3 cups | 711ml | Cabbage; finely shredded |
1 cup | 110g / 3.9oz | Celery; chopped |
1 | Green pepper; small - chopped | |
1 | Onion; small - chopped | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Pepper |
Heat the oil in a large frying pan about 20 minutes before serving time. Add ingredients and cook over medium to low heat about 15 minutes. Stir often. Cover pan during the last 5 minutes of cooking time. Stir once or twice.
Serve immediately. (Vegetables will be crisp.)
