Seasoned Blackeye Peas Recipe - Cooking Index
2 1/2 cups | 592ml | Blackeyed peas - fresh or frozen |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Onion - chopped (medium) |
1/3 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Celery - chopped |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Beef bouillon - granules |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Dried savory |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Black pepper |
2 cups | 474ml | Water |
Combine all of the ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, for 1 hour until tender.
