Savory Grits Recipe - Cooking Index
| 4 cups | 948ml | Water | 
| 1 cup | 237ml | Quick-cooking grits - uncooked | 
| 1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Minced green onions | 
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt | 
| 1 | Ground red pepper | 
Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan; stir in grits and remaining ingredients. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 7 minutes or until thickened, stirring frequently. Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 1 cup).
