Sauteed Spinach And Red Peppers Recipe - Cooking Index
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Olive oil |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Olive oil |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Red bell peppers (medium) |
2 | Garlic cloves - sliced | |
1 | Crushed red pepper flakes | |
8 cups | 1896ml | Steamed rinsed spinach |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
* Seed bell peppers and cut into strips. ** Do not dry spinach.
1. In large skillet, heat oil. Add bell peppers, garlic, and pepper flakes. Cook stirring frequently for 3-4 minutes.
2. Add spinach, with water still clinging to the leaves to the skillet. Sprinkle with salt. Increase heat to medium-high and cook, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
