| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Fresh mushrooms - sliced |
| 2 | Green onions - sliced | |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Butter |
| 2/3 cup | 157ml | Water |
| 1/3 cup | 53g / 1.9oz | Regular long grain rice |
| 1/4 | Bell pepper | |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Dried sage - crushed |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Snipped parsley |
Bell peppers can be any color, but should be cut into 1-inch julienne strips.
