Quick Succotash Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 118ml | Water |
10 oz | 284g | Frozen baby lima beans - (1 package) thawed |
10 oz | 284g | Frozen whole kernel corn - (1 package) thawed |
3/4 cup | 109g / 3.8oz | Diced green bell pepper |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Dried whole summer savory - crushed |
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Seeded and diced peeled tomato |
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Add beans; cook, uncovered, 5 minutes. Add corn and next 3 ingredients; cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, and stir in tomato. Yield: 5 servings (serving size: 1cup).
