Oven Roasted Asparagus With Thyme Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Asparagus spears |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Garlic clove - halved (large) |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Olive oil |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Dried thyme |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly ground pepper |
Preparation time: 10 minutes Cooking time: 20 minutes
1. Preheat oven to 400F.
2. Snap off tough ends of asparagus; remove scales with a knife or vegetable peeler, if desired. Set aside.
3. Rub cut sides of garlic over a 13 x 9-inch baking dish; place garlic in dish. Add asparagus; drizzle with oil. Sprinkle asparagus with salt, thyme, and pepper; toss gently. Bake at 400F for 20 minutes, stirring once.
