Orange-Kissed Beets Recipe - Cooking Index

1/3 cup | 78ml | Orange juice |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Light brown sugar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Margarine |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cornstarch |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Ground ginger |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Pepper |
1 | Sliced beets | |
Drained | ||
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Golden raisins |
1 | Orange peel |
In a saucepan over medium heat, cook and stir orange juice, brown sugar, margarine, cornstarch, ginger, salt and pepper until thick. Add the beets and raisins, heat through. Garnish with orange peel.
