Orange Ginger Carrots Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Frozen sliced carrots - (16 oz) | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Orange marmalade |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Butter or margarine |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Brown sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Grated fresh ginger |
Place 1-inch of water and metal steamer basket in medium saucepan. Place carrots in basket, and bring water to a boil over medium-high heat. Steam for 4 to 4 1/2 minutes or until crisp-tender.
Remove carrots from steamer basket and place in medium bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
