Marinated Tomatoes Recipe - Cooking Index
4 | Tomatoes; large | |
1 cup | 237ml | Vegetable oil |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Wine vinegar |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Mustard; dry |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Black pepper |
1 | Garlic; clove - large, minced | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Basil; fresh - chopped |
2 | Thyme; sprigs - fresh, chopped | |
1 | Marjoram; fresh - sprig, chop | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Scallion; minced |
NOTE: Tomatoes should be peeled and sliced.
Place tomato slices in serving bowl. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over tomatoes. Toss lightly. Chill for 1 hour or longer before serving.
