Italian Garden Saute

Recipe Ingredients

1/4 cup 59mlSweet cream butter
2 cups 474mlZucchini - sliced
1 cup 62g / 2.2ozWhole kernal corn - drained
3/4 cup 177mlGreen pepper strips - (thin)
1/3 cup 20g / 0.7ozChopped onion
1 teaspoon 5mlSugar
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSalt
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlGarlic powder
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlBasil leaves
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlOregano leaves
1/8 teaspoon 0.6mlPepper
1 cup 62g / 2.2ozTomatoes - coarsely chopped

Recipe Instructions

In a 10 inch skillet, melt butter. Add zucchini, corn, pepper, onion and seasonings. Saute over medium heat, stirring frequently, until vegetables are tender and extra liquid has evaporated (8 to 10 minutes). Gently stir in tomatoes; continue cooking just until hot, yet firm (2 to 3 minutes).
