Indiana Succotash

Recipe Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs 681g / 24ozGreen beans
1 1/2 cups 93g / 3.3ozGreen onions with tops --
  Chopped
2   Whole kernel corn - drained
1 tablespoon 15mlSugar
1 1/2 teaspoons 7.5mlSalt
6 tablespoons 90mlButter
3/4 teaspoon 3.8mlPaprika
3/4 teaspoon 3.8mlCelery salt

Recipe Instructions

Cut beans in rounds the size of corn; cook with 1/2 teaspoon salt about 15 minutes or until tender, drain. Saute green onions in butter until transparent (do not brown). Add corn, 1 teaspoon salt, paprika, celery salt and sugar, then beans. Simmer, covered about 10 minutes.
