Indian Lentil Sandwich Spread, Mcdougall Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Cook lentils |
4 | Garlic - pressed | |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Ground coriander |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ground cumin |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ground turmeric |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ground ginger |
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Cook gently over low heat, stirring occasionally, fir 5 minutes to allow flavors to blend. Chill for one hour.
