Honey-Baked Root Vegetables Recipe - Cooking Index
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Honey |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Margarine - melted |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
| 1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Carrots |
| Cut into 4 x 1/2-inch sticks | ||
| 1 | Rutabaga - (1 pound) (small) | |
| Cut into 4 x 1/2-inch sticks | ||
| Vegetable cooking spray |
Combine honey, margarine, and salt in a large bowl; stir well. Add carrot and rutabaga; toss to coat vegetables.
Arrange the vegetables in a single layer in a 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 375for 1 hour or until the vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally. Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 1 cup).
