Homemade Chocolate Pudding Mix Recipe - Cooking Index
Dry Mix | ||
4 cups | 948ml | Nonfat dry milk solids |
2 2/3 cups | 527g / 18oz | Sugar |
1 1/3 cups | 83g / 2.9oz | Cornstarch |
1 cup | 110g / 3.9oz | Baking cocoa - (1 to 1 1/3) |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
Pudding | ||
2 cups | 474ml | Milk |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Butter or margarine |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Vanilla |
For Mix: Sift together all ingredients. Store in an airtight container or plastic bag. For Pudding: Combine 1 c. mix with milk in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly or do in Microwave, stirring occasionally. Stir in butter and vanilla. Pour into individual serving dishes. Can serve warm or chilled.
For Pie: Can decrease milk by up to 1/4 cup. Follow directions for pudding. Cool slightly, pour into baked pie shell. MC formatting by [email protected]
