Green Bean / Jicama Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
| Dressing | ||
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Soy sauce |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Rice vinegar |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Honey or equiv. Sweetener |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ground ginger |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Toasted sesame - up to 1/2, up to |
| Other Stuff | ||
| 1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Fresh green beans - blanched |
| And shocked in cold water | ||
| 1 | Size jicama - peeled and (medium) | |
| Julienned | ||
| 1 | Red onion - sliced very thin |
Whisk together dressing ingredients. Toss in other stuff. Chill at least 1 hour before serving, tossing again after 1/2 hour (to help marinating process).
