Gratin Dauphinois

Recipe Ingredients

3 cups 711mlPotatoes - up to 4 (medium)
  And thinly sliced
2 cups 474ml18% cream - or milk
2   Eggs
2 oz 56gEmmenthal cheese - up to 3 oz

Recipe Instructions

Make two layers of potato slices in a greased casserole, sprinkling cheese, salt, pepper and freshly grated nutmeg on each layer. Whisk cream and eggs together and pour over potatoes. Bake in preheated 350F oven 1 hour or til potatoes are tender.
