Fried Corn With Sour Cream Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
3 cups | 187g / 6.6oz | Fresh corn |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Butter |
1/3 cup | 48g / 1.7oz | Red and green bell peppers - chopped |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Onions - chopped |
4 teaspoons | 20ml | Flour |
1 cup | 237ml | Sour cream |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Pepper |
Fry corn in 2 tablespoons butter; set aside. Melt remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, then add peppers and onion. Cook over low heat, stirring frequently until tender. Add flour and mix well. Add sour cream and continue to cook stirring constantly until thickened. Season with salt and pepper and serve with corn.
