Fried Bhindi Recipe - Cooking Index
2 cups | 474ml | Bhindi - (ladyfinger, okra) cut up |
1 | Onion (small) | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Zeera |
3 | Red chiles | |
Salt according to taste | ||
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Haldi |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Oil |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Imli water --optional |
1 | Tomato |
Saute the sliced onion until transparent-light brown. Add zeera, salt, haldi, bhindi and chilis. Cover and cook on low heat till soft. Do not add water. Try not to stir so much otherwise it will breakup. To check if done, stir, when the sticky texture disappears, its done.
