3 cups | 711ml | Beets - cooked, sliced |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Horseradish - fresh, grated |

4 teaspoons | 20ml | Horseradish - prepared |

1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Caraway seed |
2 cups | 474ml | Vinegar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Brown sugar |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Salt |
1. Layer beets in a glass or earthenware bowl, sprinkling layers with horseradish and cloves.
2. Boil vinegar with sugar and salt 2 minutes. Pour over the beets. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
