Hoisin Lime Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1/2 cup | 46g / 1.6oz | Minced shallots |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Canola oil |
| 1/4 cup | 23g / 0.8oz | Minced garlic |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Hoisin |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Fresh lime juice |
| 1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Chopped candied ginger |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Freshly-ground white pepper |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
Saute shallots and garlic in 1 tablespoon of canola oil. Add hoisin and saute. Add juice, ginger and white pepper. In a blender, puree all. With blender running, slowly add remaining oil until smooth. Check for seasoning.
