Tomato-Cucumber Salad

Recipe Ingredients

3 tablespoons 45mlBalsamic vinegar
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlItalian herb seasoning
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlSugar
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlSalt
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlFreshly-ground black pepper
2   Tomatoes - thinly sliced
1   Cucumber - peeled, and
  Thinly sliced
4   Scallions - sliced

Recipe Instructions

In a small jar with a tight-fitting lid or in a small bowl, combine the vinegar, Italian seasoning, sugar, salt and pepper; cover and shake well or whisk until blended.

On a medium platter, arrange the tomatoes and cucumber in a spiral, alternating the vegetables. Sprinkle with the scallions and drizzle with the dressing.
