Hot Asiago Spread

Recipe Ingredients

1 cup 146g / 5.1ozNonfat cottage cheese
1/4 cup 59mlNonfat cream cheese - plus
2 tablespoons 30mlNonfat cream cheese
1 1/2 teaspoons 7.5mlDijon mustard
1/4 cup 36g / 1.3ozGrated Asiago or Parmesan cheese
2   Scallions - sliced
1   Jalapeño pepper - seeded, deveined,
  And minced (wear gloves to prevent
  Irritation)

Recipe Instructions

In a blender or food processor, puree the cottage and cream cheeses; add the mustard. Add the Asiago cheese, scallions and jalapeño; pulse to combine.

Transfer the mixture to a 2-cup microwavable dish; microwave on High until heated through, 3 minutes.

Serve at once.
