Mashed Sweet Potatoes And Carrots

Recipe Ingredients

2 cups 474mlSweet potatoes - peeled, cubed (large)
4 cups 440g / 15ozCarrots - peeled, sliced (large)
2   Garlic cloves - peeled
1/4 cup 59mlWhipping cream
2 tablespoons 30mlButter
  Salt - to taste
  Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste

Recipe Instructions

Cook potatoes, carrots and garlic in large pot of boiling salted water until very tender. Drain; return to same pot. Mash with potato masher. Add cream and butter and mash until smooth and creamy. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

This recipe yields 6 servings.
