Green Chile Paste

Recipe Ingredients

2   Poblanos - roasted, seeded, and peeled
1/2   Jalapeno chile - seeded if desired, and roughly chopped
2   Garlic cloves - peeled
1/2   Cilantro, leaves only
1 teaspoon 5mlSalt
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlRed onion - peeled and chopped (small)
  Juice of 2 limes
2 tablespoons 30mlWater
2 tablespoons 30mlOlive oil

Recipe Instructions

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and puree until a chunky paste is formed. Serve at room temperature.

This recipe yields 1/2 cup chile paste.
