2 cups | 396g / 13oz | Sugar |
1 cup | 237ml | Water |
1 | Dry white wine | |
1 | Sparkling water - (1.5 liters) | |
6 cups | 876g / 30oz | Chopped seeded watermelon |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Chopped mango or papaya |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Chopped pineapple |
Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the syrup is clear. Set aside to cool.
Combine the syrup, wine, and sparkling water and stir well. Add the remaining fruit and serve cold.
This recipe yields 12 to 16 servings.
