Avocado Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
2 | Avocados, preferably Haas | |
1/2 | Fresh cilantro leaves - chopped | |
1/2 | Red onion - finely chopped (small) | |
3 | Jalapeno chiles - stemmed, seeded, and finely diced | |
1 | Tomato - seeded, finely diced (medium) | |
Juice of 1 lime | ||
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Olive oil |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Coarse salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
Cut the avocados into quarters. Remove the seeds, peel and place in a mixing bowl. Mash with a potato masher or fork. Add the remaining ingredients and beat with a fork to mix thoroughly.
