Roast Beef Crostini With Horseradish Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | French bread baguette | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Mayonnaise |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Prepared horseradish - drained |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce |
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Medium-rare cooked roast beef - thinly sliced |
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Slice baguette into rounds 1/2-inch thick. In toaster oven or broiler, toast each side until light brown. Set aside.
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, horseradish and Tabasco sauce. Spoon generous teaspoon of sauce onto each toast round. Mound slices of roast beef on sauce and top with freshly ground pepper. Serve on a large round plate or tray.
This recipe yields about 30 crostini.
