Quickie Quesadillas Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Refried beans - (16 oz) | |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Tabasco brand Green Pepper Sauce |
Flour tortillas - (8" dia) | ||
1 | Red bell pepper - finely-chopped | |
1/4 cup | 4g / 0.1oz | Chopped cilantro or parsley |
8 oz | 227g | Shredded Monterey Jack or cheddar cheese |
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
In medium bowl, combine refried beans and Tabasco sauce and mix well. Spread bean mixture on each tortilla to 1/2 inch of edge; sprinkle with red bell pepper, cilantro, and shredded cheese. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Place tortillas on 2 large cookie sheets.
Bake 5 minutes or until cheese melts and tortillas are golden around edges. To serve, cut into wedges.
This recipe yields 8 appetizer servings.
