1 | Cream cheese - (11 oz) - softened | |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Butter - softened |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Plain yogurt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dried marjoram |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Paprika |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Dry mustard |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Capers |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Minced fresh or frozen chives or onions |
1 | Radicchio or red-leaf lettuce head | |
Bagel thins |
Combine cream cheese, butter, yogurt, marjoram, paprika, mustard, Tabasco sauce, salt, capers and chives in blender or food processor; process l minute. Pour into serving bowl and refrigerate until firm.
Wash radicchio and dry well. Trim off bottom 2 inches. When ready to serve, place radicchio in cheese. Serve cold as spread with bagel thins.
This recipe yields 2 cups.
