Hot Crab Dip Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Fresh or canned crab meat - well picked over |
1 | Cream cheese - (8 oz) - softened | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Milk |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Onion - finely chopped (medium) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Prepared horseradish - drained |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Mayonnaise |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dry mustard |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Dry sherry |
Salt - to taste | ||
1/4 cup | 23g / 0.8oz | Sliced almonds - toasted |
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients except almonds. Transfer to shallow baking dish. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until heated through. Top with toasted almonds and serve with crackers or sour dough bread slices.
This recipe yields about 2 cups.
