Peppery Sauteed Shredded Cabbage Recipe - Cooking Index
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Butter or margarine |
3 cups | 711ml | Shredded green cabbage |
3 cups | 711ml | Shredded red cabbage |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Onion - diced (medium) |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Tabasco pepper sauce |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-cracked black pepper |
In 12-inch skillet, over medium heat, melt butter. Add green and red cabbage, onion, salt, Tabasco pepper sauce and black pepper; cook 10 to 15 minutes until tender, stirring occasionally.
This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
