2   Reduced-calorie rye bread - toasted
1 teaspoon 5mlDijon mustard
1   Thin deli ham slice - halved
3 tablespoons 45mlShredded Gruyere cheese
2 tablespoons 30mlDrained rinsed sauerkraut

Recipe Instructions

Preheat the broiler.

Spread the toast with the mustard; top each slice evenly with the ham and cheese. Place on a broiler rack and broil 5 inches from the heat, until the cheese is melted, about 1 minute.

Meanwhile, place the sauerkraut in a small microwavable dish; microwave, covered, on High until heated through, about 30 seconds. Top each sandwich with the sauerkraut.
