Apple Slaw Recipe - Cooking Index
3/4 cup | 177ml | Salad oil |
1/4 cup | 59ml | White wine vinegar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped fresh basil |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dijon mustard |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Tabasco pepper sauce |
1 | Green onion - chopped | |
4 cups | 948ml | Shredded cabbage (green or red) |
3 | Granny Smith apples - cored, cubed |
In large bowl, mix oil, vinegar, salt, basil, mustard, Tabasco sauce and green onion. Stir in cabbage and Granny Smith apples. Cover and chill several hours or overnight.
