Creamy Cabbage Slaw Recipe - Cooking Index
6 cups | 1422ml | Shredded cabbage |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Sliced green onion |
1 cup | 237ml | Mayonnaise |
(or mayonnaise-type salad dressing) | ||
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Granulated sugar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Vinegar |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Celery seed |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
Combine cabbage and green onion. Chill. Blend mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, celery seed and salt, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Chill. Just before serving, toss mayonnaise mixture lightly with cabbage mixture.
Yield: 10 servings.
