Basil-Garlic Orzo Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 lb | 113g / 4oz | Orzo (rice-shaped pasta) |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Olive oil |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Chopped basil |
2 | Garlic cloves - crushed | |
Salt | ||
Freshly ground black pepper |
Place a large pot with 3 to 4 quarts of water on to boil for orzo. When water boils, add orzo; cook for 9 minutes. Drain; return to pot. Add oil, basil, garlic, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix and serve.
Yield: 2 servings.
