Port Soused Fruit With Yogurt Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 118ml | Dried apricots - (packed) |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Dried pitted prunes - (packed) |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Port or Madeira |
2 | Whole cloves | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Plain whole milk yogurt |
Place fruit in small saucepan with Port and cloves. Slowly bring liquid to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 2 minutes just until fruit is tender. Remove saucepan from heat and cool fruit to room temperature. Remove cloves. Spoon fruit into dessert bowl and top with yogurt.
This recipe yields 2 servings.
