Fresh Pineapple With Frozen Berry Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 | Ripe pineapple - peeled, cored, | |
| And cut into chunks | ||
| 1 | Frozen raspberries - (10 oz ea) - thawed | |
| 1 | Frozen sliced strawberries - (10 oz ea) - thawed | |
| Sugar - to taste | ||
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Orange juice or orange liqueur | 
| Mint leaves - for garnish | 
Puree the thawed fruit, then pass them through a sieve to remove the raspberries seeds. Stir in sugar to taste if need be with orange juice or liqueur.
Set a clump of chopped pineapple in the middle of each dessert plate; drizzle sauce around the pineapple and garnish with mint leaves.
This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
