Lean Sauce For Grilled Foods Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Sherry wine vinegar |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Olive oil |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Hot paprika |
2 | Garlic cloves - peeled, crushed | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Whole black peppercorns - slightly crushed |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dried oregano |
1 | Bay leaf - whole | |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
In a jar combine all of the ingredients. Use to sauce roasted, grilled or broiled meats and poultry. This is strong so use sparingly.
This recipe yields 1 1/2 cups.
