Tuna Tacos Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Tuna - drained | |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Chili powder |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Spaghetti sauce |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Green pepper - finely chopped |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Onion - finely chopped |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Butter |
Purchased taco sauce to taste | ||
4 | Taco shells | |
Lettuce - shredded | ||
Tomato - chopped | ||
Cheddar cheese - shredded |
In frying pan, melt butter and saute onion and green pepper until tender.
Add tuna, chili powder, spaghetti sauce and taco sauce and cook for 5 minutes.
Place 1/4 of the tuna mixture in a taco shell and garnish with lettuce, tomato and cheddar cheese.
Repeat with remaining shells.
A hit as a snack or meal.
