Spinach With Oysters And Cheese

Serves: 6 people

Recipe Ingredients

1   Frozen chopped - spinach
3   Celery including - leaves, chopped
1   Onion - chopped (small)
1/2   Parsley - chopped
1   Butter or margarine
1 tablespoon 15mlWorcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlTabasco
3/4 cup 46g / 1.6ozPackaged dry cornbread - dressing
1/2   Oysters - chopped
1 cup 146g / 5.1ozCheddar cheese - shredded

Recipe Instructions

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 1.1/2 quart casserole.

Cook spinach according to package directions and drain well. Lightly saute celery, onion, and parsley in butter until tender.

Combine spinach and vegetables with Worcestershire, Tabasco, cornbread dressing, chopped oysters, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.

Place mixture in casserole and bake for 25 minutes.

Top with shredded cheese and return to oven for an additional 5 minutes.

Sprinkle with paprika if desired.
