Spinach With Oysters And Cheese Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Frozen chopped - spinach | |
3 | Celery including - leaves, chopped | |
1 | Onion - chopped (small) | |
1/2 | Parsley - chopped | |
1 | Butter or margarine | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Tabasco |
3/4 cup | 46g / 1.6oz | Packaged dry cornbread - dressing |
1/2 | Oysters - chopped | |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Cheddar cheese - shredded |
Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 1.1/2 quart casserole.
Cook spinach according to package directions and drain well. Lightly saute celery, onion, and parsley in butter until tender.
Combine spinach and vegetables with Worcestershire, Tabasco, cornbread dressing, chopped oysters, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
Place mixture in casserole and bake for 25 minutes.
Top with shredded cheese and return to oven for an additional 5 minutes.
Sprinkle with paprika if desired.
