Sole Almandine Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Butter/margarine | |
1/3 cup | 30g / 1.1oz | Almonds - sliced |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Dill weed |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Lemon juice |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Whiskey - rum |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Sole fillets |
And while you're posting elsewhere, here's a great MW fish recipe if you need to get fancy - or even if you want to treat yourself - while waiting for the guts to be back in your kitchen.
Zap everything but fish in MW safe dish (I use clear glass) until almonds are brown (5-7 minutes)
Lay fish fillets on mixture and coat both sides, then zap for 6 minutes (No need to turn them while cooking.)
Serve with rice.
