Shrimp Stew Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Flour |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Shrimp - shelled, cleaned |
3 cups | 711ml | Hot water |
Salt to taste | ||
Tabasco sauce to taste | ||
1 cup | 237ml | Cooking oil |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Onion - chopped |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Bell pepper - chopped fine |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Green onion and tops - chopped |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garlic powder or>>> |
1 | Garlic - minced |
Make roux of flour and oil. Brown in iron skillet.
Add onion, bell pepper and green onion.
Add hot water and simmer on low heat.
Add remaining ingredients and cook on low heat until done.
