Shrimp Or Crabmeat Mousse

Serves: 6 people

Recipe Ingredients

1   Lemon gelatin - (3-oz)
1 cup 237mlBoiling water
2 cups 125g / 4.4ozCrabmeat or shrimp or 1 cup of each
1/2 cup 55g / 1.9ozChopped celery
1 1/2 tablespoons 22mlChopped green bell pepper - , optional
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSalt
1 1/2 tablespoons 22mlPrepared horseradish
1 1/2 tablespoons 22mlChopped scallions
1/8 teaspoon 0.6mlCayenne pepper
1/2 cup 118mlMayonnaise or salad dressing
1/2 cup 118mlCream - , whipped
  Salad greens

Recipe Instructions

Dissolve lemon gelatin in boiling water.

When partially congealed add all ingredients except salad greens and blend. Pour into mold.

When firm, unmold on salad greens.

Serve with asparagus spears or green peas and heated rolls.
