Shrimp Boiled In Beer Recipe - Cooking Index
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Shrimp |
24 oz | 681g | Beer |
1 | Garlic - peeled | |
2 | Bay leaves | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Parsley - chopped |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Celery seed |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Thyme - (dried) |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Cayenne |
1/2 | Lemon - juiced |
Rinse shrimp.
Combine remaining ingredients and boil. Add shrimp.
Boil and reduce to simmer, uncovered, until done.
Drain and serve with melted butter seasoned with lemon juice and Tabasco sauce.
Or chill and serve with mayonnaise.
