Seafood Au Gratin With Artichoke Hearts Recipe - Cooking Index
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Butter |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Dijon mustard |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Flour |
1 cup | 237ml | White wine |
1 cup | 237ml | Milk |
1 | Artichoke hearts | |
16 oz | 454g | Cream cheese - (2 lg pk) |
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Swiss cheese - grated |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Raw shrimp - cleaned |
White pepper - to taste | ||
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Crabmeat |
In a large saucepan, melt butter and add flour. Stir constantly for 1 minute over low heat.
Add milk gradually and stir until mixture thickens.
Add cream cheese, a little at a time, stirring with a whisk. Add remaining ingredients.
Cook no more and 10 minutes over low heat, stirring constantly.
Serve over rice or toast points.
